ICT tech fair Criteria D
1.Evaluate your performance during criteria A and C. What did you do well and what did you do badly? Suggest 2 improvements you would make to each criterion.
For criteria A and C I think that I displayed my work well and that I did all that was required of me to a high standard and in the required manner.for criteria A specifically, I believe that I investigated and researched well for the tech fair project.For criteria C specifically I believe that I planned my work for the tech fair project well.Also, I think that I showed good evidence for y procedure for this project, I also included explanations and images for my procedure of creating the project.Even though I believe I did well I still think that I could improve it in some ways.
Two improvements that I have for criteria A is that maybe could include more research so that I have more information and examples when I com create my project.The second improvement for criteria A would be to have detailed information about examples so that when I come to create a project I have all the details which will make it better for me to make my decisions on my project
Two improvements for criteria C would be that maybe I could have more explanations so that if a person comes to see the explanations of the procedure they could understand how created it.Other than that my second improvement would be including more images making it easier for the person to understand my explanations if my procedure.
To conclude, I believe that I have done well in both criteria but I can still improve in certain ways to make my performance in the criteria better.
2. Evaluate the success of your project through testing and analysis. (Testing by way of questionnaires, surveys etc.)
Here is a survey that I and my partner did to test and evaluate our project for the tech fair.In this survey, I chose three questions that I have asked for multiple people in my lass to answer after they watched our project.
I then put the three questions and gave me the option to answer yes or no and that is how I evaluated my project.According to the survey, most of the people believed that it would appeal to the children if children are an intended user and if children would be pleased by it.
This then showed that the project was successful which was shown by the audience in the results of this survey.However, It also showed that we needed some improvement as there were some people that responded with a no showing their disagreement.
To conclude, after performing this survey it helped me evaluate my project for the tech fair and know whether it improved or succeeded.
3. Evaluate the impact of your project on society – following your testing and the evaluation written for question 2. Do you think your project would survive in today’s competitive world? Explain in detail.
I believe that my project would have a good impact on the society.The reason I believe is is that this project will help children at a young age grow in knowledge but also be able to learn in a fun and enjoyable way.The second part of the project can also help young people who would want to use computer and technology skills to create video games or pixelated games using pixelated characters which could also really help them to be able to create something like that easily by having some example that they could use and make suitable for any type of video game or pixelated website that they would like due to how the pixelated animals and characters that we created is suitable for any genre or type.
I believe that there is a chance that my project would survive the competitive world due to how it has a good impact on the society but also that it is helpful and not harmful, however, it still has some disadvantages that may cause it to not be able to survive.The reason I believe it would survive s that I would really help the coming generations in terms of their knowledge but also in inspiring them in their technological creations which would be very beneficial to our society.It will also be a very nice not only for the general society but also help the technological world in terms of helping young inspire people to slowly grow in the technological world in terms of helping them by introducing them to a technological skill like pixels.To conclude I believe that it would survive in the competitive world, however, there are still some improvements that it could be done to help it become better, more complex and technological o help it to thrive in the competitive world.
4. Explain how your project could be improved – following your testing and the evaluation written for question 2. You should have an idea how you could further improve your final product, explain in detail.
The first improvement is that maybe next time I can create a variety of thing out of pixels so that I have a variety of pixelated things in my project.
The second improvement could be to use a different app for screen recording option for the video due to how at this time it had some place for improvement in terms of the quality
The third improvement for my project could be the quality of the sound in the video due to how the quality this time wasn't the best showing that there was a chance to use a better option for recording
A fourth and final improvement could be to research more and look for more example in terms of pixelation is that next time my creations could be better in detail and quality.
One way I could further improve my project could maybe make it on a bigger scale so that instead of creating characters or an alphabet video next time I could create a scene, a video game or maybe even an app based on pixelations.Next time I could try the same idea but on a bigger scale and maybe involving more innovative ideas to out and portray through pixelations like what I did in this project but better, more complex, more challenging, more innovative and more technological
